Now, first off, let me state that I have not yet hunted with the stealth 450r.
That being said. Let's get to it.
I'm a rifle hunter. Lever gun, 45-70. Here where I live, archery season starts in September. Several years ago now, my hunting buddies put the crossbow flea in my ear. I have been hesitant to purchase a crossbow, mainly because I'm quite frugal and I run by the buy once, cry once principal. This year, I was finally able to afford a "good one". Taking the advice of my hunting buddies, I was on the hunt for a tenpoint stealth 450r. I did a lot of shopping around and little mountain outfitters had in stock, what I was looking for. And it was the best price for in stock items available.
Although, I had never done business with little mountain outfitters before, and after looking up online reviews, I figured, the hell with it, I'm going to give it a whirl.
Ordering process was easy and convenient, order updates and shipping uodates were sent out promptly. Package arrived undamaged within 3 business days from ordering.
I mounted the scope on the now, left the dial alone, it was set to a hair below 450. I sent 2 bolts and my target and they both hit within 2 inches of my POA. Both arrows were almost touching. Range 20 yards.
The trigger on the bow reminds me in a way of a geissele 2 stage AR trigger. Although it does not feel as solid as the geissele. First stage for my liking is too light, almost non-existent. Breaks nice, tho. Also, I have medium sized hands and the trigger shoe is a bit too far forward for my liking.
Perceived recoils was next to nothing.
The bow is very quiet with tenpoint arrows and no silencer installed.
Overall, I could not be happier with the now as well as little mountain outfitters.
Let's just hope I am going to be able to harvest some babies this season with the bow.
