I was concerned with the weight when they arrived. , When your carrying gear, every bit counts . On the negative side, not as light as the high end stuff grafite etc . Although they lay together well there's no latching / interlocking them together without a strap.
On the positive side, less than half the cost of high end sticks , they allow for decent foot placement away from the tree , and overall length of foot area.
Each person has to decide what they want specifically.
I would purchase again .
